I am on vacation for a week in Southern Indiana. Brown County. I have a 2015 Equinox. For the first time, it died while parallel parking near our destination. Then 3 more times by the time time we reached our cabin. Called the Columbus dealer to inquire about assistance for the next day. We arrived with no appointment. The Service Advisor, professional, courteous, experienced and friendly, discussed my situation. She did not overpromise what could be done although something could be done yet that day. She included hope which relieved my anxiety. Her hope was that it would be the simplest thing wrong. I did not have an appointment. I thought one option would to get a diagnosis then return another time or have friends come pick us up. We waited in the wonderful customer waiting area for maybe 45 to 60 mins knowing there was to be a diagnosis soonish. We got busy on our smartphones and books. She then came to us for and update. My vehicle was nearly done! AND it was all covered under warranty. We would be on our way back to our cabin in a few minutes! This Advisor, at my request, spoke to my son by phone, to update him directly. He is my main support who is a qualified mechanic and collaborates with that local dealer. The service and support far exceeded my expectations. It was an example of excellence! My friends and I travel to this area annually. This dealership will be my "local" support for many years to come. I am grateful.
